Yan Yu, Chief Executive Officer

Yan offers his clients IT project management skills honed through more than 15 years of software development and IT consulting projects.  In July 2008, he founded Spartan Consulting, a full service software development consultancy, based in San Francisco, California.

Prior to founding Spartan, Yan was with Idiom Technologies, a developer of Translation Management System (TMS), for seven years and held a number of management positions.  His accomplishments include leading many large-scale Idiom WorldServer implementations and defining Idiom's WorldStart implementation methodology.  Prior to Idiom, he was a Managing Principal Consultant at Oracle Consulting where he led many e-commerce projects.  Before Oracle, Yan was the Director of Information Technology at Ullo International in Natick, Massachusetts.  He holds a B.S. and a M.S. degree in mechanical Engineering from Louisiana Tech University, and a M.B.A degree from Louisiana State University in Shreveport.

Andrew Pimlott, Chief Technology Officer

Andrew drives innovation and technical excellence at Spartan Consulting.  He also works closely with customers and end-users to understand their requirements.

Andrew was a founding engineer at Idiom Technologies in Waltham, MA, where he co-architected two major revisions of Idiom WorldServer, the industry leading Translation Management System (TMS).  After Idiom, he went on to become a founding member of NexPlan in Redwood City, CA, where he served as the Chief Software Engineer in building a system that communicated with enterprise project management and financial applications.  Andrew holds an A.B degree in Mathematics from Harvard College, Cambridge, MA. 

Chase Tingley, Vice President of Engineering

As Vice President of Engineering, Chase is reponsible for all aspects of GlobalSightSaaS.

Chase spent several years implementing routing and transport protocols for networking firms in the Boston area before joining Idiom Technologies in 2003. At Idiom, he led development of the WorldServer Global Electronic Publishing product, and in 2006 took over development of all filter components in WorldServer. He has contributed code to multiple open source projects including Mozilla. He holds an A.B degree in Computer Science from Harvard College.
